Turning houses into homes…..clients into friends
Having grown up in the Philadelphia area, I went on to attend Cairn University (formerly Philadelphia Biblical University) and Grace Theological Seminary before serving 3 churches for over 20 years. Desiring to stay in the “people business”, I began my real estate career in 2000. While I have enjoyed build jobs, commercial sales and helping investors, my real joy comes from seeing people get into their first home. Many strong friendships have continued after settlement, and so a while back I began employing my tag line: “turning houses into homes…..clients into friends.”
I am married to Deborah, a CNA instructor at the Willow Street Career and Technical Center and we enjoy our times spent visiting our 3 grown children and new grandson (and eating lobster) in Maine, where we used to live.
Deb and I both enjoy kayaking (and so does our basset hound), camping, hiking and serving in our local church. I would add hunting, biking for worthy causes, rooting for all Philly sports teams, and serving as a workplace Chaplain to my list.

Testimonial: We were happy to use our neighbor and friend, Dave Dilworth when it was time for us to move south. What stands out the most is that Dave was away on a business trip and yet guided us through a multiple offer situation that ended at 10pm when we made our final decision. Not only did Dave give us good wisdom in pricing our home, he communicated everything we needed to know in order to choose which offer to accept. While it was not even the best offer financially, we are convinced we enabled the right family to enjoy our home. This was a key to us being satisfied at the end of the day. Recently we passed our son’s name on to Dave to help get his home sold. We have good thoughts of Dave, using our snowblower, while we enjoy warmer weather! Bill and Pam B.
